Always make sure to test all your projects after upgrading to the latest version of Foxtrot RPA! To ensure proper operation, all Foxtrot servers and workstations are required to run the same version. Upgrade the Foxtrot server first, followed by all Foxtrot workstations. Uninstalling will never delete Foxtrot scripts or databases.
Important notes
Foxtrot Suite v15 comes with some significant changes that you have to be aware of if you are upgrading your Foxtrot Suite from an earlier version:
- The FoxBot.exe application is no longer part of the main Foxtrot Suite installation. If you wish to utilize the FoxBot.exe application to execute scripts either manually or via batch files (so not via FoxHub), you can download and install it separately via the link below.
- As also mentioned in the release notes below, going forward, Foxtrot will operate with ".rpa" files. All older project files will be automatically converted to the new botflow files when manually opened. The old files will remain unchanged in case you wish to downgrade back to the earlier version of Foxtrot and run the project. It is important that you make sure to thoroughly test all your solutions after the conversion to the new file format. Also, make sure to update your jobs in FoxHub and test that everything works there as well.
