Always make sure to test all your projects after upgrading to the latest version of Foxtrot RPA! To ensure proper operation, all Foxtrot servers and workstations are required to run the same version. Upgrade the Foxtrot server first, followed by all Foxtrot workstations. Uninstalling will never delete Foxtrot scripts or databases.

Improved Reports

- Fonts have been darkened for better visibility on screen and after being printed
- Note Actions now display the note text only once instead of twice
- Action notes now word wrap more reliably and do not run off the edge of the page
- Reports now display items in alphabetical order
- In previous versions, the Step Count displayed on each Task header in the Tasks Report displayed an incorrect value. This has been fixed.
Improved: List Preview
A preview has been added to the List view of the Expression Builder making it easier to see the results of a list lookup being created.
Improved: Send Email Action Editing
When editing a Send Email Action, the More view will be displayed if a value exists for one of the additional fields displayed in the More view.
Improved Message Hooking
A bug was discovered in the message hooking mechanism used by Foxtrot that prevented system messages from being sent to the next application in the hook chain while Foxtrot was running. This caused some third party applications to stop working while Foxtrot was open since those applications were expecting to receive a system message but never received it. This has been fixed.
Practical Example |
|
|
Some third party authentication software solutions detects when a website or application displays a login screen then prompts the user to swipe their finger to log in. This bug prevented such applications from receiving the necessary system messages to know when to prompt the user to swipe their finger, leaving the user with no way to use the third party authentication software while Foxtrot was running. This has been fixed and these third party solutions will resume working properly. |
