One error that might occur when working with Foxtrot is the following:
This means that Foxtrot is not properly connected with the chosen web browser when working in the internet. The solution for this error is to place and run the action 'Detect IE' before the web browser action. The Detect IE Action forces detect the running browser. Before Foxtrot can interact with a browser, it must first be aware that the browser is running. Foxtrot is designed to automatically detect browsers when they are launched. In certain scenarios, a browser may not be detected due to how the browsers load into memory. In these cases, a Detect IE Action can be added to a Project to instruct Foxtrot to look through all the running browsers and detect any that may have been missed when it was launched.
To create the Detect IE action, select Advanced Actions to expand the Action list. Select the Detect IE Action from the Actions list to display the Action Builder.
NOTE: If you do not have the Advanced tab available, it means you are running Foxtrot in Beginner mode. To change this, press on Account in the top right corner of Foxtrot and click on Mode to change it.
